Soul winning and Evangelism are at the heart of the Christian mission. Jesus Christ told us in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Every believer is called to be a witness, sharing the life-changing message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Soul winning is not only the work of pastors or missionaries—soul winning is the responsibility of every follower of Christ.
In a world that searches for reality, hope and truth, evangelism remains a powerful way to bring light into a dark place. Sharing the Good News of salvation begins with prayer. We ask God’s Spirit to open hearts and give us love and courage. Then, through our words and actions, we point people to God’s love shown through Jesus Christ.
Soul winning also protects and strengthens the Christian’s faith. God’s Word teaches us that Evangelism and soul winning are part of the full armor of God!
Ephesians 6:15 tells us about, “having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”
When we share about our Savior Jesus, our love for the Lord grows deeper. Evangelism brings us joy, because God’s Word says, “there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10).
Christians who commit to Evangelism can radically help transform not only their communities, but their own lives! Soul winning is not a matter of catching numbers of people. Soul winning is about doing your part to help save souls for eternity.
Pray for the lost, share your testimony, reach people with the love of God and trust the Holy Spirit to work through you. Evangelism always changes lives. Both yours and those you reach for Jesus Christ.
