Jesus did a foot washing with HIs disciples. He wants His followers to learn to humble themselves, and to serve and love one another.
God wants us humble and to not think so highly about ourselves. Every Christian must remain this way in order for God to fully use them.
God doesn’t want you to be conformed to the world’s ways of thinking. God wants to transform and renew your mind and its ways of thinking.
Because of God’s mercy, it makes sense that we’d be dedicated to the LORD as a living sacrifice, and consecrated to serve Him with our lives.
