The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) is Judaism’s most holy day, and greatly points us to Jesus and His Atonement for our sins.
Paul considered himself a servant, bound to Jesus Christ, of his own will. This is our example to follow.
We are buried with Jesus in Baptism. We baptize to obey Christ’s command to make disciples.
As God guides and provides for Paul, He also teaches us about how He works out His will in our lives too.
