Jesus Christ bought the church, owns the church, builds the church upon Himself and builds the church His way.
Jesus commanded the church to make disciples by teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded us. In the church today, there’s a dire need for making disciples by teaching the entirety of God’s Word, and to learn God’s Word within its context. Doing so will greatly safeguard the church against false teachings, and guard those who would lead God’s people away from the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3).
As Jesus has authorized the church to make disciples through the teaching of God’s Word, it’s crucial to remember that we teach people to be obedient to the commands of Jesus Christ.
Christian discipleship is impossible, unless we teach God’s Word!
