12 Basic Needs in Ministry – part 4 – Not afraid of the Wilderness
Christian, if God were to give you a Wilderness Test today, how would you respond?
Would you choose to COMPLAIN?
Or, will you remain teachable, and choose to have CONTENTMENT?
You can only choose one answer, so which will it be?
Would you COMPLAIN because things don’t go exactly your way, or because things are not done in your timing, or to your liking? Do you often COMPLAIN and find that it ruins relationships? Or, do you accept with CONTENTMENT, everything that God brings your way?
Paul the Apostle chose the path of CONTENTMENT in Christ. Paul wrote, “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:11-13)
