Choose Jesus

One of the things we see throughout John 18 is a theme to CHOOSE JESUS!

• Not betraying Jesus – like Judas Iscariot did
  • But CHOOSING JESUS – instead of the money
• Not condemning Jesus – like the high priest did
  • But CHOOSING JESUS – instead of the power
• Not denying Jesus – like Peter did
  • But CHOOSING JESUS – instead of pride and giving in to peer pressure
• Not rejecting Jesus – like the crowd did
  • But CHOOSING JESUS – instead of going with the popular opinion
• Not giving in to political pressure and washing our hands of Jesus – like Pilate did!
  • But CHOOSING JESUS – instead of political power and authority

WE MUST CONSTANTLY BE CHOOSING JESUS – and not the BARABBAS in our life!
