Jesus said, “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.” (John 4:35-38)
Queens County in New York City is seen as the most ethnically diverse large county in North America (2.3 Million people live in Queens), if not the world. Joseph Salvo, of New York City’s Department of City Planning says, “Queens is probably one of the most diverse places on Earth.” Within Queens, this Elmhurst area that we reach out to is seen as one of the most diverse spots, and is a large transportation hub that connects with the rest of the City. By reaching people in this one geographic location, we connect with others that can impact the world.
Friends, pray for us as we labor for the Lord in His Harvest to see souls saved and disciples made! Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support. Please continue to pray for and support the Lord’s work through Calvary Chapel At The Cross.
