Sharing Good News With Friends

Sometimes when you’re sharing Good News of the Resurrection with others, people might think you’re a crazy person. But we need to keep sharing Good News with friends!

NON-BELIEVERS MIGHT THINK YOU’RE CRAZY

I guess I can identify with Mary Magdalene, the woman that Jesus had to cast out seven demons from.

In my past, I can’t say that I’ve had demon possession. But I can say that I thought I was going out of my mind at times.

At least more than once, I really thought I was going to lose my mind. But the Lord rescued me each and every time and led me to His peace.

And when Jesus did a remarkable life transformation from within my heart, I did have some family members and friends that thought I was nuts!

I used to have a beautiful home in my name, and a really nice car – but I believe the Lord told me to sell these things and to live more simply.

When I told my family that Jesus wanted me to live more simply and sell these things, one of them called me crazy. (and some other things I shouldn’t say here)

Hey, they probably still think I’m going through some kind of a “phase” in life because I want to serve Jesus. But it’s been around three decades now!

When we share with friends about Jesus dying for their sins, and then Resurrecting Himself from the grave, people do sometimes look at us like we’re a crazy person sharing Good News!

KEEP MOVING FORWARD

I want to encourage you to keep sharing Good News with friends and family.

People need to hear the Gospel message preached to them.

It’s a work of God for them to believe.

Your job and my job is to simply teach and preach all of God’s Word to others.

Share this with someone who needs to know this.

God bless you and see you soon!
